Orgasm control, or a technique called edging, is when a person gets right to the point where they are about to orgasm, then stops stimulation. It is a good practice for men with premature ejaculation. For women, this is a way to feel better at all stages of arousal and discover new ways to achieve orgasm. For couples, this is a way to play with the transfer of power and to trust each other. We would advise you to devote time to this practice and to give yourself the right to make mistakes. Orgasm control is the communication process when it’s important to talk and listen.
Important: orgasm may not be the goal of sex. The process is a valuable thing in its own right.
Getting ready
Before we start the practice, let’s say a few words about the stages of arousal.
- Immediate arousal. Skin becomes highly sensitive, muscles tighten, heart rate increases, blood rushes to the genitals. The surface of the head of the penis or the vulva surface often becomes moist.
- Plateau phase. All sensations begun in the first phase become more intense. As arousal increases, you feel that orgasm approaches. This is the stage where you should get ready to stop or slow down sexual stimulation.
- Orgasm. You feel a series of intense muscle contractions and maximum arousal of the nervous system. Orgasm is accompanied by increased moistening of the vaginal walls in women and ejaculation in men.
- Resolution. The resolution phase occurs after orgasm. The erection goes away due to the outflow of blood, all organs and tissues return to their flaccid state. Some people have the ability to have multi-orgasms. In this case, the resolution phase occurs after a series of orgasms.
Scenario
How to control orgasm:
1.Create the environment for the two of you: enough time, a comfortable place, no inhibiting factors.
- Get down to your favorite foreplay. Undressing, kissing, touching the neck, and caressing the breast.
- Build up arousal. Cunnilingus, caressing penis, hand job. Use toys.
- Listen to your partner’s feedback: watch out for your body’s reaction, your voice.
A minute before orgasm, stop stimulation until you return to the plateau phase.
Continue to engage in any sexual activity. When you are about to climax, stop the stimulation. After a break, repeat the process two or three more times.
This practice intensifies all feelings, making orgasms many times stronger and better.
Have fun!
